October reflection epals

Communication: Considering you communicated with other individuals across the globe, communication is a massive part of epals.

Picture:

I learned that "global warming" is still massively popular among the worlds youth, and no matter what you say you will never change their opinion about it. They will continue spouting the same garbage again and again over the death of polar bears and what not.

I was fairly happy with my argument against global warming, but it was fairly useless. There wasn't much to be significantly "proud" of though.

google sketchup

My favorite unit from August was google sketchup.
This is creative because it requires art and creativity skills. It's a building with spiderman on it, and it's innovative because it used google sketchup which makes 3d drawings.

I learned how to make 3d objects using google sketchup, and about some 3d physics. I'm proud that I can put spiderman on a virtual 3d building, and I'm extremely happy with my work.

texting while drive ban

I thought this was kind of a dumb law, since texting while driving will only technically be banned by name after this. Most of the people who text while drive will do it anyway, since it's extremely hard for police to verify if someone actually is texting while driving. Legislation very rarely saves lives, and this law will only inhibit people's liberties. I think that if you can safely text while not looking, and look at the road and drive at the same time then texting while driving is fine. People can also just lie about whether they were texting or doing something else to get out of the fine.
